The Nameless

From the director of [Rec] comes another unnerving, and deeply unsettling Spanish horror. Five years after a young girl was murdered, and when her mother seemed to have started to recover, a telephone call once again shatters her existence: "Mummy, it's me... come and get me". One of the most effective horror movies of recent years, The Nameless was adapted from a Ramsey Campbell novel by the Spanish filmmaker Jaume Balaguero (Darkness & [Rec]). It's a superbly atmospheric film with excellent performances and visuals worthy of Dario Argento.
